Mallacoota Inlet

Mallacoota Inlet is the town's sheltered watery heart, a broad estuary of arms, coves, jetties, and forested shore. It is good for boating, kayaking, fishing, birdwatching, or simply sitting by the water while pelicans and black swans work the shallows.

Cruises and boat hire make it possible to see more than the town foreshore. If you have only one easy day in Mallacoota, spend much of it on or beside the inlet.
