Kilcunda Trestle Bridge

Kilcunda Trestle Bridge is a heritage railway bridge from 1911, built for the old Wonthaggi line over Bourne Creek. The trains are gone, but the bridge now carries walkers and cyclists on the Bass Coast Rail Trail.

Its beachside setting is what makes it worth a stop. You get timber engineering, surf, creek mouth, and open coastal views in one short walk, with easy access from Kilcunda.
