Fishing Boat Harbour is Fremantle's small working harbour, set west of the city centre between Marine Terrace and the Indian Ocean. Crayfish boats, prawn trawlers, and small charter vessels share the water with pleasure craft, and the wharves along the southern edge are lined with seafood restaurants and a couple of microbreweries.
The harbour is the place for fish and chips by the water — Cicerello's and Kailis are the two old-school institutions, both vast and busy, both still serving good battered fish from the boats moored thirty metres away. Little Creatures Brewery, in a former boat shed at the eastern end, is the alternative for craft beer and pizza. The seawall walk west of the harbour gives the best sunset view in the city.
