The Kimberley is primarily a landscape destination — gorges, waterfalls, sandstone formations, and empty red savannah. Most activities involve getting into the bush, whether by 4WD along the Gibb River Road, by boat into the Buccaneer Archipelago, or by helicopter over the Bungle Bungles.
