Five Rivers Lookout is Wyndham's essential stop. The road climbs the Bastion Range to a broad view over the town, Cambridge Gulf, mudflats, and the meeting country of the Ord, Forrest, King, Durack, and Pentecost rivers.
Come late in the day if you can. The low sun gives shape to the flats and ranges, and the lookout makes much more sense of Wyndham's isolated position than the streets below do.
