Beedelup Falls is the easiest forest escape near Pemberton: a short drive west of town, with walking tracks through karri and marri forest and views over the water below the falls. It is at its best after winter rain, when the cascade has real force.
The walks are short but satisfying, especially if you want a softer day after the lookout trees. The area also has picnic spots and access to longer forest paths.
