Yallingup Beach is the village's front door: a sweep of sand, reef, and surf below the hillside houses. It is a serious surf spot when conditions line up, but also a good place to understand why people base themselves here rather than in the busier Margaret River town.
Non-surfers can still enjoy the beach, especially around sunset or on a calm morning. Check conditions before swimming; this coast is beautiful, but it is not tame.
