By Air
Almost everyone arrives at Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport, located about 9 miles (15 km) from Hagatna in the village of Tamuning. United Airlines is the primary US carrier, offering nonstop service from Honolulu (roughly 7 hours) and connections from the US mainland via Honolulu. From Asia, Korean Air and Jeju Air fly nonstop from Seoul; Philippine Airlines from Manila; and Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways from Tokyo and Osaka. The Seoul and Tokyo routes together account for the majority of arrivals. Transit time from Tokyo is around 3.5 hours, from Seoul about 4 hours.
Guam sits at the hub of Micronesian air travel, so it also serves as a jumping-off point for the Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, and the Federated States of Micronesia.
By Sea
Apra Harbor on the western shore is one of the major ports in the western Pacific. Cruise ships call here, and cargo shipping lines connect Guam to the wider Pacific. However, there are no regular passenger ferry services to or from other islands.
