Bear Rock is a coastal limestone formation near Inarajan whose outline, from the right angle, resembles a bear crouched by the sea. It is one of those local landmarks that works best when you treat it lightly: stop, look, take the photo, and enjoy the coast around it.
The access road is small and the immediate area is not heavily developed for visitors. Combine it with the natural pools rather than making it the only reason to drive south. The rock is most photogenic in clear light when the shape separates from the background cliffs.
