The Xhemahallë Complex is the architectural anchor of old Delvina — a 17th-century Ottoman ensemble centred on a mosque, with an attached madrasa, a hammam, and the Llutro fountain that supplied water to all three. Built in 1682, the mosque is considered the first "King type" mosque in Albania, the form built for the regional pasha class who modelled themselves on the imperial style of Istanbul.
The complex has fared poorly under successive regimes — communist closure, decades of neglect, partial collapse — but the mosque, the hammam ruin, and the elegant Llutro fountain remain standing, and the site is now a protected Cultural Monument. The whole ensemble is just below the castle and a five-minute walk from the centre of town.
