Lake Fierza is the reservoir that changed Kukës. When the dam was built, the old town disappeared under the water and the modern city moved uphill, leaving the lake as both landscape and local memory.
The shore is not a polished resort strip. Its appeal is the scale: broad blue water, steep hills, and the feeling that the city is perched on the edge of a much larger mountain region.
