Kuenringerbad is an outdoor natural swimming pool in Oberloiben, maintained without chemical treatment and set up with separate children's and adult areas. It is more practical pleasure than grand sight, but on a hot summer day in the Wachau it can be exactly the right pause.
It works best if you are cycling or walking beyond Dürnstein itself. Bring a towel, check the weather, and treat it as a slow afternoon break rather than a destination on its own.
