Kunigundenkirche is the oldest church in Dürnstein, dating from around 1200. Much of it was rebuilt in the late 18th century, but the tower and sacristy still carry the older fabric, making it a quiet counterpoint to the showier monastery closer to the river.
It is not a long visit. Stop in while walking the old village lanes, especially if you are interested in how much medieval Dürnstein survives beneath the Baroque surface.
