The main central park of Agstafa, named after the 20th-century Azerbaijani poet Samad Vurgun. Tree-lined paths, a few statues, benches, a small fountain, a cinema, and a ring of low-key restaurants and tea houses around the edges. It is the closest thing the town has to a centre of social life, busy in the evening when families come out to walk after the heat eases.
Stop for a tea at one of the chaykhanas and you will get a fair sense of small-town life in western Azerbaijan within half an hour.
