Istisu Hot Springs sit east of Lankaran in a green pocket of oak and ironwood forest. The setting is simple rather than resort-like, with warm mineral water, a small stream, and the Talysh foothills close by.
It works best as a local excursion if you have your own transport or a driver. Do not confuse these springs with the better-known Istisu sanatorium farther away.
