Mount Ulubash

Mount Ulubash rises above the Qax region and is mostly worth the trip for the view: on clear days you can look across the wooded foothills and down toward the town and surrounding villages. The mountain reaches about 1,900 metres, so weather changes quickly and the track can be rough after rain.

Treat it as a half-day mountain outing rather than a casual city sight. Go with local advice on road and trail conditions, and bring proper shoes if you plan to walk beyond the vehicle track.
