The central sights are walkable, especially around Leninskaya Street, the town hall, the cathedral, and the theatre. Local buses and trolleybuses cover longer hops, but visitors usually need them only for outlying museums or the railway station.
Buinichi Field is outside the centre and is easiest by taxi or local transport arranged with current schedules in hand.
