Terlinden Castle is a private castle estate on the edge of Aalst, but its two-hectare gardens are open to the public. The grounds keep their old paths and earthworks, with a landscaped country-house feel around the former coach house and orangery, which now houses a branch of the library.
Come for a quiet garden walk rather than a castle interior: the main building itself is not open to visitors.
