A large Gothic church in the centre of Kortrijk, worth visiting primarily for Anthony van Dyck's painting "The Raising of the Cross" (1631), which hangs in the south transept. The church also holds a collection of medieval sculpture and the Chapel of the Counts of Flanders, with alabaster effigies of Louis de Male and his countess. Admission is free.
