Europe's only salt lakes sit right in the centre of Tuzla, built on land that subsided from centuries of underground salt mining. The complex includes several pools of warm, salty water surrounded by sandy beaches, and in summer it draws crowds from across Bosnia. The water's high salinity makes floating effortless. Open from May through September, with a small entrance fee.
