The Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel is another of Nesebar's partially preserved medieval churches, with decorative brickwork and stone courses that echo the better-known Christ Pantocrator. Its ruined state makes the construction easier to read: arches, niches, wall patterns, and the compact footprint of a Black Sea church.
It is a short stop, but a good one if you are tracing the old town's church architecture. Nesebar is at its best when you stop comparing individual ruins and start seeing the peninsula as a dense medieval religious landscape.
