A long-running flagship of Bulgarian comfort food on Vitosha Boulevard, with a second branch up at Aleko on Vitosha mountain. The name means "the lucky one." The menu runs to shopska salad, grilled meats, kavarma stews, and clay-pot bakes; the service is fast and prices fair for the location.

The big terrace is the heart of summer; the wood-panelled interior with its painted murals is what you want in winter. Reservations are sensible on weekends.
