Ethnographic Museum

Varna museum of regional folk life in a Revival-era house

Varna's Ethnographic Museum fills a 19th-century Revival-era house with the everyday culture of the region: farming, fishing, viticulture, crafts, clothing, and domestic life from the late Ottoman and early modern Bulgarian periods. It is smaller and quieter than the Archaeological Museum, but the focus is different.

Visit when you want people and habits, not only gold and ruins. The displays help connect Varna's seaside identity with the villages, trades, and seasonal work that shaped the surrounding region.
