At 778 metres, Vidova Gora is the highest peak on any island in the Adriatic. On a clear day the view stretches south to Hvar and KorĨula, with Zlatni Rat visible far below as a white sliver in the blue water. The panorama is genuinely one of the finest in Dalmatia.
You can drive almost to the top on a good road from Bol, or hike up a well-marked trail that gains about 600 metres in roughly 2.5 hours. A small konoba at the summit sells food and cold drinks in season.
