Brela lies on the coastal D8 road between Split and Makarska. The closest airport is Split (about 80 km north), with regular shuttle and rental-car connections; Dubrovnik is about three hours south.
Buses along the coastal road run frequently in summer and connect Brela to Split, Makarska, and Dubrovnik. The local stop is in Brela centre, a short walk from the beach. From Split bus station the trip takes around 90 minutes; from Makarska, about 20 minutes.
By car the drive from Split is straightforward — the coastal D8 is slow but scenic, hugging the cliffs above the sea. In peak summer it can be jammed. The A1 motorway runs inland and is faster if you exit at Zagvozd and come down through the Sveti Ilija Tunnel.
