Dražica Beach

Dražica is the main town beach, a short walk west of the old town along the coastal path. It is partly pebble, partly concrete platforms cut into the rock — the standard Adriatic arrangement — with clear water, sun loungers for hire, and a couple of beach bars. A pine forest backs the beach and shades the path that leads on to further coves.

It gets busy in July and August but is rarely uncomfortably so. The water shelves quickly and is suitable for swimming rather than wading, which makes it less ideal for very small children. A handful of smaller, quieter coves lie a few minutes further along the path.
