Krk Harbour Promenade

The Riva — the harbour-front promenade — runs along the southern edge of the old town between the small marina and the public beach. Fishing boats and a few yachts tie up here, the cafes start at the cathedral end and run for a few hundred metres, and the view stretches across the bay to the mainland mountains.

It is the obvious place for the late-afternoon walk that Croatians and Italians both insist on, and the simplest way to feel the rhythm of the town. From the western end of the promenade a coastal path continues toward the Dražica peninsula and its line of small beaches.
