A small curve of pale pebbles and pine-shaded grass at the southern edge of the village, Jackie O. is the beach that locals send you to. The water shelves gently and stays calm thanks to a small offshore islet that breaks the wind, and the seabed is sand and smooth stones rather than the sharp limestone that catches you out at many Dalmatian beaches.
There are no facilities — bring water, a towel, and a snack — but a short walk back to the village puts you in front of a fish lunch. Mornings and late afternoons are quietest; midsummer afternoons can fill up with families from the village and from boats anchored offshore.
