Things to Do

Mrljane runs on a slow rhythm: you swim in the morning, eat fish at lunch, and watch the boats in the late afternoon. The small harbour is the centre of village life, with a few benches along the quay that fill with locals in the early evening. From there, walk south to the small Jackie O. beach — a strip of pale pebbles and shallow turquoise water named, allegedly, after the former first lady, who is said to have swum there in the 1970s.

For more activity, the hill behind the village gives a sweeping view across the Pašman Channel to the Velebit mountains, especially good at sunset. A short coastal walk north along the shore connects Mrljane to neighbouring Neviđane, with views over the bays the whole way.
