The Samobor Museum sits on the main square and covers the town's medieval past, its long carnival traditions, and regional culture of the Žumberak area. The collection is small but well curated, with exhibits on local crafts, historical artefacts, and the famous Samobor Carnival (Fašnik) that draws visitors every February and March. Worth an hour, especially on a rainy day.
