Viganj is essentially a wind, a beach, and a string of restaurants. The main reason to be here is the meltemi that funnels through the Pelješac channel most summer afternoons — reliably 15-25 knots between 1pm and sunset, exactly the conditions that make this one of Europe's best windsurfing and kitesurfing spots. When you're not on the water, the village's two highlights are the small Franciscan monastery and the cross-channel views over to Korčula.
