The Jewish cemetery and crematorium at Terezín is one of the area's hardest but most important visits. Around 9,000 people are buried here, many of them victims of the ghetto and transit camp that operated under Nazi occupation.
The crematorium interior can be visited, with information explaining how it was used. It is unsettling, as it should be, and it gives necessary context to any trip from Litoměřice into Terezín.
