Hundested Sand Sculpture Park is a seasonal show at the harbour, rebuilt each year around a new theme. The best pieces are much more than beach entertainment: huge, detailed, temporary sculptures made by artists who know exactly how far packed sand can be pushed.
It is an easy add-on to a harbour visit and a good family stop. Check the season before making a special trip; the festival usually runs from late spring into autumn, with the exact dates changing by year.
