Knud Rasmussen's House is the reason Hundested is more than a harbour stop. The low, white house was built in 1917 as the explorer's retreat between Greenland expeditions, and it still feels like a place made for work, weather, and long views over the Kattegat.
Inside, the museum tells Rasmussen's story as polar explorer, writer, and founder of modern Inuit studies. The setting matters as much as the objects: walk the grounds, look toward the sea, and the pull north becomes easy to understand.
