Skansen

Skansen is a set of early-19th-century coastal earthworks on the cliffs above Hundested. The redoubt was built during the conflicts with Britain to help guard the entrance to the fjord.

Little remains beyond the landscape and defensive lines, but the cliff setting gives the site good sea views and makes it an easy add-on to Knud Rasmussen's House and Spodsbjerg Lighthouse.
