Kabli Beach

Long, shallow sandy beach on Pärnu Bay

Kabli Beach runs for several kilometres along the eastern shore of Pärnu Bay — wide, sandy, and very shallow. The bay is calm and protected; the water warms enough by mid-July for comfortable swimming, and you can wade out 100 metres and still be only chest-deep. The beach itself is mostly undeveloped: pine forest behind, dunes, and a handful of small wooden cabins set back from the sand.

Even in peak summer the beach feels uncrowded compared to the resort at Pärnu, 50 km north. A small camping area at the southern end offers basic facilities. The nearest restaurant is the Kabli Tervisekeskus, walking distance from the beach. Bring everything you need — there are no shops or kiosks along most of the beach itself.
