Käsmu fits comfortably into a day. The maritime museum and the village itself are the cultural focus; the wooded peninsula and the boulder-strewn coast are the natural one. Most visitors do both: a couple of hours in the museum and the captains' houses around it, then a half-day walking some part of the 9 km loop trail around the peninsula. Swim from the village beach in summer and watch sunset over the bay from the lighthouse point.
