Audru is a small borough about 3 km north of Valgeranna, and the nearest settlement of any size. It has a late 18th-century manor house — Audru Manor — built in a restrained neoclassical style that is characteristic of Estonian rural architecture of the period. The manor and its grounds are worth a brief stop if you are passing through.
The village also has a Lutheran church dating from the early 19th century, a small supermarket, and a petrol station — the last chance for supplies before the coastal road south toward Valgeranna. The surrounding polder landscape is flat and open, quite different from the pine-forested beach area to the south.
