Eiði is reached by road from central Eysturoy. From Tórshavn, expect about an hour by car via the Eysturoy tunnel or the older bridge route through Streymoy.
Public buses serve the area, but schedules are thin outside commuter hours and poor weather can disrupt connections. If you want to combine Eiði with Gjogv, Funningur, and Slættaratindur in one day, a car gives you far more control.
