The Varmakelda is a small thermal spring on Eysturoy, traditionally pointed to as evidence of the Faroe Islands' volcanic origins. It is a modest sight, but an unusual one in the Faroes and a worthwhile short detour for travellers already exploring the north of Eysturoy.
