The small white church at the centre of the village dates to 1858 and is still in use. It is one of those buildings that seems to belong exactly where it is — the turf around it, the hills behind it, the quiet. Services are occasional rather than regular, but the church is usually unlocked and worth stepping into. The interior is plain and Lutheran, with painted wooden pews and a simple altar.
