Kraatari Museum is a small local-history stop in a 19th-century tailor's home. It gives Kaustinen a domestic scale, useful in a village whose main reputation can otherwise be swallowed by festival week.
Do not expect a large museum. Come if you are already in the centre and want a glimpse of older rural life around the music tradition.
