Kuopio Quarter-Block Museum preserves a cluster of old town buildings furnished to show local life roughly 150 years ago. The museum also includes a pharmacy display and material on eastern Finland's folk healers.
It is one of Kuopio's more atmospheric small museums, useful for visitors who want a sense of the wooden-town streetscape that existed before the modern centre grew around it.
