The Lahti Art Museum (renamed Malva for its new location in 2022) holds a strong collection of 19th- and 20th-century Finnish art, with a particular focus on poster design — Lahti has hosted the long-running International Poster Triennial since the 1970s and the museum's poster archive is among the largest in Europe.
The new building, completed in 2022, also houses the Päijät-Häme Museum and the Visual Arts Centre Malva. Allow about ninety minutes for a quick visit, more if a special exhibition is on.
