Levi's front slopes rise directly above the resort centre, making them the easiest place to understand the town's winter rhythm. The area has hosted Alpine Ski World Cup slalom racing and is the most recognisable ski name in Finland.
The vertical drop is not Alpine by central European standards, but the snow, grooming, night lighting, and long northern season make it a serious winter-sports base.
