Muonio Local History Museum gathers 19th-century buildings moved here from villages around the area. The result is a small open-air look at local life in Finnish Lapland, with farm buildings and domestic spaces that make the region's older rural culture easier to picture.
It is a seasonal stop, generally for summer visitors. If it is open, it pairs well with Muonio Church and gives useful human context before you head back into the fells and forests.
