Pyha-Nattanen is a steep fell in Sompio Strict Nature Reserve, reached by a short but demanding trail from the road near Tankavaara. The climb gains about 200 metres in a kilometre, but the reward is a wide view over the forest, fells, and open northern sky.
The longer circular route passes a lean-to shelter at Nalijoki, while the shorter return walk goes straight to the summit and back. The day hut on the fell was originally built as a fire watch hut.
