Molines-en-Queyras

Valley-floor commune below Saint-Véran with a small ski area

Molines is the larger commune just below Saint-Véran, spread out across several hamlets along the Aigue Blanche valley. It's the main service centre for the upper Queyras — bakery, supermarket, a couple of restaurants — and the base for the Molines/Saint-Véran ski area.

The Église Saint-Romain at the top of the village has a typical Queyras steeple and frescoed interior. From here, marked walking trails head up to the Col Agnel and the Italian border.
