Electropolis is a good fit for Mulhouse, a city whose best museums lean into machines, industry, and practical invention. The museum tells the story of electricity through early devices, household technology, power generation, and demonstrations that make the subject more tangible than a wall of dates.
It works especially well as a companion to the nearby Cité du Train. You do not need to be an engineer to enjoy it, but curiosity helps; the strongest exhibits are the ones where you can see how electricity changed ordinary work, transport, lighting, and domestic life.
