Plage du Moulleau is one of Arcachon's most pleasant urban beaches, set beside the smart little quarter of Le Moulleau. The water is usually calmer than the Atlantic beaches beyond the dune, and the view across the basin toward Cap Ferret gives the place a distinctly Arcachon feel.
It is a good choice when you want a swim, a promenade, and an easy cafe stop without leaving town. The beach also works as a launch point for boat trips or a relaxed evening walk, especially when the tide and light are kind.
